Events

 

The PSU is committed to providing social opportunities for members throughout the completion of their degree programs. We are mandated to allocate resources for the purpose of fostering social cohesion, providing for lasting personal and professional ties within the SFU Philosophy Department.

 

Almost every active semester without exception, the PSU arranges for at least one Pub Night held at the SFU Highland Pub.  Beer, nachos, chicken wings and dips are provided to students and faculty by the PSU free of charge. Activities include darts, pool, philosophical inquiry, misological folly and consenting participation in (a) well deserved and sincerely offered libation(s).

 

The SFU Highland Pub provides catering services for the majority of the events organized by the PSU.
